Oil field positions

EGS seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer to join its Project Management team. The Project Management Organization designs and constructs numerous multi-billion dollar mega projects as well as many other oil & gas projects. Some of these mega projects include the Shaybah NGL Program, the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center, Wasit Gas Program, the Manifa Gas Program, Karan Program and the Ras Tanura Refinery Expansion Project. Project Management manages and executes projects from multiple offices geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
BS in Engineering
Seven years of related experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform complex technical and administrative tasks relative to the Design and coordination of specific disciplines (i.e. specialized controls and instrumentation systems).
  • Execute capital projects according to the scope, schedule and budget.
  • Responsibility for project development: preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final safe turnover to proponent.
  • Develop and preparation of contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation and award of contract for detail engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.
  • Coordinate activities and resolve issues among proponents, contractors and other parties to allow construction activities to progress according to plan and the final completion.

Cementing Specialist

EGS seeks a potential candidate to work for the Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Advanced Research Center (EXPEC ARC).
The EXPEC ARC conducts pioneering research; introduces new technology; and provides specialized technical services that enhance Company profitability and productivity in a cost-effective, timely and collaborative manner.
The Candidate will be working in the Drilling Fluids and Cement Unit of the EXPEC ARC.The mission of the DF&CU is to design, evaluate, and monitor new and specialized drilling fluid and cement slurry formulations for use in Saudi Aramco drilling, completion, and workover operations in a timely, cost effective, safe and environmentally responsible manner.
The Unit also studies current and potential drilling problems in order to provide solutions and guidelines for upcoming wells, implements quality assurance tests for Company-purchased additives, and conducts drilling fluids training to proponent personnel to appreciate its impact on the overall success of drilling.
Minimum Requirements B.S. in Science/Engineering Discipline (Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry, and Geology).
MS or PhD is desirable, but not required.
20 years of related experience, including 10 years of intensive experience in specialty.
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to provide technical support to Drilling and Workover in the area of zone isolation, cementing, cementing additives and chemicals, and troubleshooting of drilling rig problems related to the cementing process.
The candidate’s responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Design cost effective cementing and zone isolation programs for oil and gas wells through laboratory testing
  • Monitor the field applications and provide troubleshooting to field problems
  • Lead advanced laboratory technical studies and assist in research and technology projects
  • Introduce new technologies in cement designs, applications and field management
  • Develop product specifications and laboratory test procedures for well cements additives
  • Introduce new technologies in cementing and zone isolation techniques
  • Work closely with proponents, communicate effectively with field personnel, get involved in multi-disciplinary technical study teams, and lead incident investigation teams
  • Monitor quality assurance program for cements and cement additives

Logistics Analyst

Description

This position will provide analytical support and analysis in the logistics area for Cargill Texturizing Solutions (CTS) and be a subject matter expert representing CTS in Tartan implementation. This position is responsible to analyze & optimize current logistics. Also, facilitate and lead supply chain cost savings opportunities and support S&OP processes in Cargill Texturizing Solutions.
This position can be located in the Slovak Republic. Extensive travel will be required if the candidate selecte. The travel requirment is estimated at 50% and is subject to change based on need.
Principle Accountabilities:

  • 50% Subject matter expert for the management, storage and movement of goods during the Tartan system implementation.
  • 25% Optimization of current Supply Chain/Logistics footprint. Work with cross-functional groups to meet CTS cost savings goals.
  • 10% Develop and maintain Logistics measurements and scorecards.
  • 15% Managing Special projects.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics role
  • Strong technical aptitude. Proficient user of the Microsoft suite and ability to develop ad-hoc reports
  • Adaptable to constant change. Comfortable with challenging the status quo, learning new processes and assisting the rollout to the business
  • Effective communication skills with all aspects of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Experience with SAP

Position Summary Security support for logistics, Oil Fields, Shipping and other areas as needed.
Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct protective security operations and monitor supply chain.
  • Driving the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, or follow-vehicle, whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
  • Carries and operates weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from the detail leader or shift leader. Must be proficient in both Pistol and Rifle weapons.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and Passport
  • Must be able to meet or exceed several physical standards for demanding work environment.
  • Must have a minimum of three years experience as a Soldier or Police Officer (Federal Government, military, law enforcement, federal agencies, or commercial executive protection services with military or police background)
  • Successful completion of Government or National Police Academy or Military Academy
  • Submission of current approved CPR credentials or basic first aid course completion
  • Must be able to work on rotation extended periods away from home as much as 12 months.
  • Must have no criminal convictions or domestic violence conviction.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be prepared to live and work in an hot uncomfortable austere environment. Must be willing to work seven days a week, 12 hours a day and stand for long periods of time.
